At the heart of Adelaide’s new medical, entertainment and cultural precincts, Adelaide Convention Centre is one of the world’s most modern, flexible and technologically advanced facilities – staging anything from a meeting for 30 to a conference for thousands. Stage One of the two-stage expansion – the West Building – is now complete and fully operational, creating an exciting new feature on the revitalised Riverbank Precinct. The Central and West buildings’ features include: • 15,000 sqm of flexible function space with 9 multi-functional halls that can be sub-divided into multiple configurations • Plenary Hall for 2,500 guests • 26 meeting rooms, easy to combine and group in clusters • Retractable tiered seating bays provide swift turnaround • Tilting lighting grids can adjust ceiling heights and uniquely shape the ambience of your event • Extensive foyer spaces with ample outdoor views and natural daylight • Panorama Ballroom with sweeping vistas of the River Torrens, can cater for up to 600 for a gala dinner and 1,000 seated guests for a meeting or conference • Regattas Bistro + Bar on the promenade, offering an excellent lunch or coffee alternative for out-of-session meetings. The Centre’s in-house technical and production services are world-class and offer the latest innovations. Enhance your event with fast WiFi offering 12,000 individual connections, web streaming services and a variety of screens and projections. The state-of-the-art kitchens are manned by a team of Internationally-trained chefs eager to demonstrate their expertise using fresh South Australian Produce. The Soils and Seasons menu is derived from a food-philosophy all about delivering the stories of farmers, fishers, growers and native ingredients to your plate. Stage Two of the expansion is underway to create the East Building – increasing total floor space to approximately 20,000m2 with a new plenary hall for 3,500 people, an additional ballroom and 32 new meeting rooms across three interlinked buildings. Stage Two is due for completion in 2017.
